Sonja, “the one-take wonder” is the exact polar opposite of the ‘Nam twins. We were always happy to see Sonja anchor for KVIKS because we knew we would be out of there in less than 10 minutes!

Jennifer Kamimura

Joined SY 17-18

Student Associations President

Hilo High School Communications

Jenny never really joined KVIKS, but she contributed so much to us that she doesn’t really qualify to be classified as an honorary member! Jenny loved doing her accents, but she hated when we got it on camera. Jenny also loved rushing into C-117 shouting, “LUKE! I HAVE AN EMERGENCY” when in actuality, she literally wanted to design a t-shirt. This post is dedicated to all the times Luke’s computer was shut off by accident.

Kamakana, “Makana”, joined as a sophomore. I wouldn’t necessarily say he, “joined” more like, he played alot of Overwatch with Hinano and eventually started hanging out with him in the lab. Eventually, Makana got up and said: “Boi, u need help?” and we answered with a desperate, “YES”. Makana has proven himself to be a talented memer and editor and has mastered the art of making creative and entertaining videos.
