Creative
KVIKS Creative operates the KVIKS Makerspace which includes digital design, banner production, laser and 3D printing, embroidery, vinyl cutting, and much more. Creative offers students the chance to express themselves freely in different art forms while creating work to help support the school.
Creative Assignments
Creative Coordinator (Qty 1) – The creative coordinator is responsible for all the makerspace equipment that KVIKS Creative uses such as the vinyl banner printer, vinyl cutter, laser engraver, 3D Printer, embroidery machine, and dye sublimation equipment. They will be responsible for organizing and training Creative Specialists and Crew. They also will be responsible for ensuring all Creative projects are completed.
Creative Specialist (Qty 2) – Creative Specialists know how to use each piece of equipment in the KVIKS Media makerspace such as the vinyl banner printer, vinyl cutter, laser engraver, 3D Printer, embroidery machine, and dye sublimation equipment. They can assist with training Creative Crew members on how to use the equipment. Creative Specialists must be available at least twice a week to complete assignments or work on personal projects that help them refine their skills on the equipment.
Creative Crew – Students who select creative crew as their secondary role are interested in the equipment used in the KVIKS Media maker space. They do not have to have an interest in all of the equipment, but they must be trained on how to fold, weld, and grommet banners and any other equipment of interest.
