KVIKS Media Foundation

Established in 2023, the KVIKS Media Foundation is an educational non-profit was founded by the advisors of KVIKS Media and alumni of the KVIKS Media program. The primary purpose of the foundation is to provide opportunities, resources and support to individuals interested in creative and electronic media. Our aim is to offer educational, training, and networking opportunities, as well as access to necessary resources, fostering their growth and development in this field. As it’s namesake, the KVIKS Media program at Hilo High School is the primary beneficiary of this foundation, but it’s resources and opportunities are extended to residents of the State of Hawaii.

The KVIKS Media Foundation is a registered charity with the State of Hawaii and is able to engage in charitable solicitation within Hawaii. We have applied with the IRS for our 503(c) status. We are currently awaiting a determination letter in order to prove that your donations are tax deductible. However, if you are still willing to donate to our foundation, please read this letter.
